It is a well known fact that the human skin is the largest organ. The question asked is how big is big. Well using google ti just takes a while to find out the answer.
The skin of an adult is about 2 meters square. Here are some of the facts from the site.
1) You’ve an enormous surface (~400 m2, with skin merely ~2 m2).
2) The surface area of adults is about 18,000 cm2 (men) or 16,000 cm2 (women).
3) “The surface area may be calculated by multiplying 0.007184 times the weight in kilograms raised to the 0.425 power and the height in centimeters raised to the 0.725 power.” [Assume a height of 5'8" (170 cm) and a mass of 150 lb (68 kg).]
4)”The skin is the largest organ in the body: 12-15% of body weight, with a surface area of 1-2 [square] meters.”

The other day I was asked what is metal detecting hobby such interesting. Well to answer this question I went online and found a few resources that help to answer this question.
Right straight to the point
Metal Detecting Hobby For Beginners - This is a Squidoo lens / website that gives one a quick heads up on this hobby.
And from the same resources there are links to other useful metal detecting resources that can come in useful. There is just one question that I am thinking is how to start this hobby and I learned that getting a useful metal detector is the first step. Well here is one resource I found during my search and learn more about best metal detector for beginners and you get to learned about three types of recommended beginners detectors. It will be good too if you read up the basic functions of metal detectors. This you can find in the same website.
Guess to have a video will be best in explaining this hobby.
The recently completed E3 conference had seen the heavyweights like Microsoft, Sony displaying their wares. However the one who stole the show was Nintendo when they revealed their new WiiU. Also called Wii Universal and their new touch screen controller that looks and feels like a computer tablet.
This time round I felt that the tablet is a bit large and bulky to move unlike the good old Wiimote. It feels strange too to play games with a tablet especially where you need to swing and jape. Try doing these actions with an ipad and I guess you known what I am talking about.
Anyway the presented video of the WiiU released did show some interesting things you can do with the new controller. Best of all it can be a game machine by itself too. The other part is the augmented view with the large screen TV when playing some of the games like the one which is shown, a baseball game. The part I like is where you can place the controller down and hit the golf ball with a separate WiiMote. Or throwing some ninja’s weapons from the controller. I think theses parts cool.
